Arizona Fall League Teams

Arizona Fall League 2022 will begin play on October 3rd with six teams. Let’s take a look at them.

The Glendale Desert Dogs will be managed by Justin Jirschele. who is in the White Sox organization. They will have players from the Brewers, Dodgers, Reds, Twins and White Sox. They will play their games at Camelback Ranch in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Mesa Solar Sox will play at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona and the following teams will be represented:Athletics, Cubs, Marlins, Rays, Yankees. They will be managed by Bobby Crosby.

Peoria Javelinas will consist of teams from the Guardians, Mariners, Mets, Nationals, Padres. They play at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria Arizona. They will be managed by Reid Brignac.

Salt River Rafters will have players from the  Blue Jays, Cardinals, D-backs, Rockies and Tigers. They will play at Salt River Field at Talking Stick in Scottsdale, Arizona. Their manager is Warren Schaeffer.

The Scottsdale Scorpions will be represented by players from the  Angels, Braves, Giants, Orioles and Red Sox. The manager for the Scorpions is Matt Tuiasosopo. All home games are at Scottsdale Stadium in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Surprise Saguaros will be managed by Mickey Storey. Their home games are played at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona. Teams represented are Astros, Phillies, Pirates, Rangers, Royals.

Arizona Fall League Important Dates

The season begin on October 3rd throughout the Phoenix area. The first ever tripleheader will take place on October 15th at Chase Field. the home run derby is to take place on November 5th followed by the Fall Stars game the next day on November 6. The playoffs begin on November 11 with the semifinals play-in game. November 12 is the championship game.

Arizona Fall League Notable Roster Players

Sixteen Top 100 prospects are included on those rosters, including four of the Top 20. Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker (No. 6) and D-backs shortstop Jordan Lawlar (No. 13) will team up for Salt River, while Reds shortstop Noelvi Marte (No. 18) suits up for Glendale and Pirates catcher Henry Davis (No. 20) for Surprise.
