Through our site, I have made it known many times that I am a Trevor Bauer disciple. I love watching him pitch, and I will never miss a vlog that he creates.

Through Bauer’s vlogs, baseball fans have grown. Casual fans have become more passionate, and young kids have started to watch the game. The pitcher has given fans an up-close and personal look at big-league life.

I am a baseball journalist, and I did not know half of the things Bauer exposes in his vlogs. He gives fans a depiction of life on the road, in warmups, and the moments that only pros experience in the clubhouse.

People that do not frequently watch baseball consume Bauer’s vlogs. If that is not the definition of growing the game, I do not know what is!

You have this ability on Trevor Bauer’s YouTube channel. The pitcher gives a professional breakdown of big moments throughout the league, including every no-hitter.

Even though we are on pace for a million no-hitters in 2021, Bauer has carved out time to make videos for his viewers. The man cares about his fans, and that is commendable.

Bauer has a bad reputation in some people’s minds because of his former actions on Twitter. You can say what you want about Bauer’s actions on Twitter, but he interacts with fans more than any other player in the league.

His takes are funny, harmless, and they get fans engaged. Everything that Trevor Bauer does draws attention, and it’s the reason why more players should #BeLikeBauer.

How do you grow baseball?

You get eyes on the game. There has not been a player as successful as Bauer in manufacturing fan engagement.
