National League Leader in Votes

Whichever player receives the most votes in the National League and American League after phase one earns a spot as a starter in the 2022 MLB All-star game. If you are a fan and interested in voting, you can vote up to five times per day on your favorite players.

The leading voter in the National League is New York Yankees Aaron Judge with 2,433,088 total votes and counting. Aaron Judge is having an MVP-caliber season with 60 runs scored, 81 hits, 28 home runs, and 57 RBI all while batting with an average of .293.

American League Leader in Votes

The leading voter in the American League in Los Angeles Dodgers, Mookie Betts with a total of 2,270,566 votes and counting. Mookie Betts has also been having an MVP-type season with 53 runs scored, 67 hits, 17 home runs, and 40 RBIs while having a batting average of .273.

Despite having such a successful season so far, Betts’ recent injury of a cracked rib may allow Ronald Acuna Jr of the Atlanta Braves to catch up to him by the end of Phase one voting. Acuna Jr is only 73,000 votes behind Betts in becoming the new AL leader. Acuna Jr was injured for the Braves’ World Series championship last season and has had a great comeback season. Acuna Jr has put up 28 runs, 47 hits, 7 home runs, and 18 RBIs while batting an average of .281.

League Leaders at First base

In the American League, Vladimir Guerrero Jr of the Toronto Blue Jays leads all first basemen with 1,624, 228 votes and counting. In the National League, Paul Goldschmidt of the St. Louis Cardinals leads with 1,562,027 votes.

League Leaders at Second base

In the American League, Jose Altuve of the Houston Astros leads with 1,156,474 votes. In the National League, Jazz Chisolm Jr of the Marlins leads with 1,066,927 votes.

League Leaders at Third base

In the American League, José Ramírez of the Cleveland Guardians leads with 1,219,704 votes. In the National League, Manny Machado of the San Diego padres Leads with 1,563,188 votes.

League Leaders at Shortstop

In the American League, Bo Bichette of the Blue Jays leads with 1,084,794 votes. In the National League, Trea Turner of the Los Angeles Dodgers leads with 1,369,759 votes.

In the American League, Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees leads 2,433,088 votes. In the National League, Mookie Betts of the Dodgers leads with 2,270,566 votes.
